THE SACRAMENT OF MARRIAGE

A wedding ceremony taking place inside a church with ornate architecture, featuring a bride and groom kneeling before the altar with guests standing nearby.

Congratulations on your engagement! We are excited to celebrate your wedding at our parish church. Our team is here to support you in making the planning process as smooth and joyful as possible. We look forward to working together to create a truly memorable liturgy for you and your guests. We are glad that you have chosen to celebrate your wedding in the Catholic Church according to your faith within the sacrament of Marriage. There are many things to do, and you have some work and deadlines ahead of you, but we are here to help you navigate your preparation.

We like to involve as many people as possible in the ceremony. Not only can people read the readings, but can assist as ushers, servers and Eucharistic Ministers (if they have already been prepared for this ministry). We will work with you through all the details since there may be slight differences from parish to parish (usually because of the way the buildings are designed) and movies and television do not always accurately depict the Catholic wedding ceremony. We are excited to work with you in this celebration!
